Design for change is an innovative initiative undertaken by Kamalnyan Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation led to holistic development of personalities of the children where the children dare to dream and make successful efforts to achieve. They began to relies their social responsibilities and continued propagating them same in their present life.

On the other hand the teachers and schools involved got motivated and still continuing the initiative with new bathes of students with the help of Bajaj Foundation.

The education department has been continuing their support for getting more and more schools involved in the programme every year. As an impact, in the year 2018 – 19, collaborative efforts were exerted with Maharashtra Village Social Transformation Foundation under a motivational guidance of Shri. Benefits at the receiving end -

The students developed social attitude as they became part of DFC initiative. The children dealt with diverse subject related to protecting birds, creating safe drinking water facilities, rebuilding school infrastructures, village cleanliness, gender discrimination, promoting natural farming to reduce faming distress, etc. This helped them realize their responsibility towards environment and society. They became sensitive towards weaker section of the society. This we can notice in the interviews of the students captured in the video clips.
