Yoga is not a religion; it is a way of living that aim towards a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Yoga has been appreciated and practised not just in India but also across the globe, making it an official worldwide celebration on 21st June as International Yoga Day. As an acknowledgement, we at LPGCL initiated yoga sessions on our campus. It was the brainchild of Managing Director of the campus who sowed the seed of yoga class for the benefits it will offer employees and their families. In addition to that, it was revealed that Mr.R.N. Bedi, LPGCL President is an ardent yoga practitioner and also a Yoga Master. He happily took up the responsibility of conducting yoga session and, is doing so successfully from the last 3 years.
Now, we all know that our routine has kept us all away from physical activity like yoga, gym exercise, aerobics etc. But the case is slightly different for LPGCL. Under the guidance and passion of Mr.R.N. Bedi, our yoga sessions have been continuously running from last 3 years. Also, the benefits that aspirants have experienced plays an important role to be able to sustain the classes for long.
Additionally, and proudly, we would like to add another feather in the cap. Mr.R.N.Bedi and his yoga team took up the noble cause of “Swachh Township Abhiyaan: Clean LPGCL, Green LPGCL” on Sundays. He, along with his team, cleaned the entire around the campus and planted trees.
