Bajaj Group has synchronised its third and final unit of 1980 MW thermal power plant based in Lalitpur. The first and second units of of 660 mw each were earlier commissioned in September 2015 and January 2016 and have already achieved full load capacity. The third unit of 660 mw was commissioned on Thursday, said a company official.
The official said all three units of 660 mw each were commissioned within a single financial year which was a feat in iteself. The third unit will attain full capacity shortly. The development comes right ahead of summer months in power-starved state.The Kushagra Bajaj-led Bajaj Group has interests in power, sugar, ethanol, consumer products and real estate.
